In 3-temperature zone logistics, we combine vehicles capable of delivering frozen, refrigerated, and ambient goods simultaneously based on the volume of goods, and design and operate them as a single delivery route. By integrating transportation processes that tend to be segmented by temperature zone, we reduce transshipment and waiting times, enabling stable quality control and smooth deliveries.

We centralize operational management, quality control, and information sharing in collaboration with bases across the country. Many field staff and the management department share roles, stably supporting daily operations. We have established a system that can flexibly respond to unexpected changes through the combined use of human judgment and systems.

Through stable daily operations and continuous on-site improvements, we continue to support a wide range of food distribution operations. As one example of these efforts, some of our facilities have packaging plants co-located with Muroo’s distribution centers.Through this integrated “direct delivery” system—which combines manufacturing and distribution—we have achieved shorter lead times. As a result, the best-by dates for certain products have been extended by about one to two days, contributing to reduced food waste and improved quality.
